APRIL NEWS & EVENTS

CRAFT DAY @ THE LIBRARY – WEDNESDAY, APRIL 12TH @ 2:00 P.M.
Crafts Using Vintage or Costume Jewelry - We all have broken jewelry or old buttons in some box that seems to be just taking up space. Reuse old jewelry, buttons, beads, shells, and more creatively. Bring your “found” objects and something to decorate ... you might consider using a picture frame, a jar, jar lids, mirror, wooden cutouts, boxes, whatever.

TECH DAY @ THE LIBRARY – THURSDAY, APRIL 27TH @ 10:30 A.M.
Tech Day is a week later due to the Friends’ Book Sale. This month we’ll look at updates made to the OverDrive application and review all steps necessary to download e books and audio books. If you have questions you would like included in the discussion, send an email to lakeshore.techday@gmail.com.

TIME TO FRESHEN UP YOUR GARDEN WITH LAKESHORE’S SPRING PLANT SWAP!
APRIL 22ND @ 10:00 A.M. IN THE FRONT PARKING LOT
• Bring items from your garden to exchange with others - seed pods you've collected, bulbs you've dug up, cuttings from your favorite “whatever” and potted volunteer plants and trees. There’s no charge to participate … bring plants, get plants. The rules of the exchange are quite simple: No weeds or unknown transplants are allowed and every plant or seed must be identified. Help these babies find a new home!
• Extra plants may be available to purchase for a donation to the Friends.
